My daughter has a bigger wardrobe than I do

Not just bigger. Better.

Is it wrong to covet items in your not-quite-two-year-old's wardrobe?

If only they made these in bigger sizes. Without bigger price tags.

Do your children have better wardrobes than you? What item would you borrow (permanently) if you could?

Linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.

    1. It's gotten better recently, I think. When Ashleigh was first born, I felt like I was confronted with a sea of pink everywhere I went. Now there are some beautiful things.

  3. Yes, I buy far more clothes for my girls than for me (and I really need some). Those are some funky clothes!

    1. Aren't they? I bought one of them. Just one. Ashleigh's grandmothers spoil her, and she has two older female cousins who hand items down. So lucky!

  4. I love little girls clothes, full stop!!

I think it's because I never, ever get to buy them unless it's for a gift. I only get to buy boy stuff, which is so boring most of the time!

The girls clothes that are out at the moment are just gorgeous!!
Aaah, to have a girl.... :)

  6. My sons have better wardrobes than I do - gorgeous colours, some designer brands...and if I had daughters I'm convinced they'd have better wardrobes! My son has son great Polo jeans - beautiful colour and wearing, skinny leg...!

    1. Okay, now I'm coveting your son's jeans! I've definitely entered wrong territory now.

  7. I often think this too. I reckon it is because you get to create a wardrobe (from scratch) every season which means you can get things that go and create good combos. Having said that, the Minx has a very um, unusual way of styling herself! She is renowned for her combinations in these parts. You can't buy style! x

    1. Ah, good point. No more growth spurts; no more complete wardrobe overhauls.

I hear you: Ashleigh loves her shorts so, it being winter, she's getting around in shorts, 'sock-pants' (her word for tights) and gumboots most of the time.

  9. Well, not when you count the holes, paint splatter, food stains, and Dora motifs. Perhaps this is just my poor children's wardrobe failings :)

    1. Haha, true! All the more reason for these clothes to live in my wardrobe instead of Ashleigh's :)

  10. Would love a wardrobe like that - it is always more fun for me to buy for the girls than for myself...
